EVERTON HAS COMPLETED DEAL WITH UDINESE

Everton has completed a deal worth more than €30m to sign Portuguese striker Beto from Udinese on a permanent move. The 24-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the club and will join the Toffees as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Born in Lisbon, Beto began his youth career in Portugal before moving to Italy to join the Udinese youth setup. He made his Serie A debut in 2016 and scored eight goals in 31 appearances for the club last season.

Beto has been praised for his technical ability, pace, and finishing skills, and Everton fans will be hoping that he can make an immediate impact in the Premier League. His arrival follows the signings of Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray, who were both brought in to add pace and width to Everton's attack.

Manager Rafa Benitez has spoken about his desire to strengthen the team's attacking options and Beto's signing will add competition for places up front. With Dominic Calvert-Lewin the only recognised striker in the squad, the addition of Beto will provide options and flexibility for the Toffees.

So, what can we expect from Beto in the Premier League? Well, judging by his performances in Italy, he is a quick and agile player who has a knack for finding the back of the net. His ability to play in different positions across the front line means that he could be the ideal foil for Calvert-Lewin.

As the season approaches, Everton fans will be eagerly anticipating the impact that Beto can make. With a new manager and new signings, the Toffees will be hoping to improve on last season's disappointing 10th-place finish. And Beto could be just the man to help them achieve their ambitions.
